Hmm... As of yesterday evening, the mission team has begun planning the camp part of the trip's programme. Brainstorming of ideas, themes and aims settled, but as for the activities themselves still have yet to finalise/settle contents in detail. 3 of our prayer warriors set off to one of their houses for a mass baking session - Cookies and brownies for sale to raise funds. As for me, well... Things seem to have came to a standstill 'cos there wasn't any team meeting or the like for today. Hehe... Kinda itching to have things speeded up. Excited. When I'm not napping or bumming that is... Note to self: There's still LOTS to do even though there may not be any planning sessions, girl. Like, read. And think. Oh. And prayer letters. Right. Ack! There ARE things to do!

Oh, I'm pleased to report that Squee finished his second and LAST ever can of Science Diet Kitten Growth Chicken & Liver food on Saturday afternoon. In celebration I gave him a bath after that. Now the loo smells better, he smells better, and I FEEL better. =p Meal times now merely require me to dole out his dry kitten food into a stainless steel dish and leave him be. No more wiping up bits of stray food with Septanol! No more dealing with wild bouts of pawing in his food! Life is more pleasant. Talk about timing. Everything with regards to his development and stuff has happened such that they occur in time to free me up for the increasing load of activities. Admittedly the last 2 months have been very slack, didn't have anything to do save for giving tuition and feeding Squee (image of me stuffing a turkey comes to mind). The little squirt is growing. It's satisfaction to the fullest when you realise after all that nursing and stuff, he's nearly a rolypoly ball of fluff and that he's nearly twice as large as when I'd found him. Plus he's rather nutty. The latest horror story was that my mum let Squee out for a while, and he went straight to Richie (who was lazing in the basket) and started 'slapping' him in the face. Needless to say not long after Richie had him pinned down again in a death grip. Wonder if the cat flu ever damaged Squee's ability to reason. Big cats are a no-no for swatting at, my dear little one, especially when they're just LYING there.
