Went over to Polar Bear's place on Tuesday. Finally met her black cat, Stitch! Extremely active cat. =P Hahaha, you'll prob kill me Polar Bear, but I just can't resist! Stitch is the first and only CROSS-EYED cat I've seen! *grins* It gives him a really comical look. He's superbly sinewy, like he's only all skin and muscles! Unlike Richie. Sigh. Who's like... Flab. Richie, my flab-tabulous cat. Nevermind, I still love him even if he's not the incredible hulk of cats. Hahaha, all soft and huggable. Fun to pull his skin that's worn like a loose fur coat over him. *evil grin*
Speaking of cats and fur coats, there was this pet shop near her home. There were at least 8 cats and 2 dogs left to run about the shop freely! Think the owner's biased toward long-fur cats, persians in particular. Yuck. I hate persians. They look like somebody rammed a boulder into their faces. *mutters* And then their tongues have the tendancy to stick out giving them this really idiotic look... But that aside, I liked the place so much, was rather reluctant to leave in the end. Whoever takes care of the cats really puts in a lot of work, cos their fur was so soft and fluffy, near show-quality standards! Imagine how many hours goes into just grooming them in a day. And there was this Ragdoll. (I LOVE Ragdolls, gorgeous blue-eyed, long-fur, NORMAL-faced cats with beautiful markings) Its fur was so soft! Argh! Like... Cotton wool, no, urm... something softer... Kapok? Hahaha, naw. Think that's still too coarse texture-wise. But the Ragdoll! So soft and fluffy and nice to pet!!! I carried it for a bit and it left a whole lot of fur on my shirt as a souvenir... Cats and clothes simply don't live in harmony. Fact of life. Oooh, and there was another persian, a HUGE grey tabby one. Looked like a big fat fluffy cushion. Haha! Well anyway, it could shake paws on its own accord! Had quite a bit of fun playing with the dogs too, a Scottish terrier and a black mixed-breed puppy. *chuckles* I liked the puppy, such a happy, eager-to-please character. Think it'd be difficult for anyone NOT to smile when it comes putting its paws on you with a toy in its mouth. Awwww...
Squee's improving, I guess. Maybe it's because I see him everyday, nearly 24/7, that's why he doesn't seem to be growing much. Heh. He can be such a scream. =P There's this nylon rope we've attached to a hook on the toilet wall, leaving it to dangle down for him to play with. He would bat at it with great enthusiasm, in addition to playing Tug 'O War with it like a dog! He'll just bite on to one end and pull, and I really mean, PULL. Hehe.
So I may not be working at all for this hols, but with just taking care of Squee... Maybe, just maybe... I could add the following to my resume:
