I feel so thankful..!

Yesterday was pure agony. Was down with a flu bug of some sorts that made me feel achy all over. Told my friend that if this was what arthritis was like, I jolly well wish I will never get it. On top of that, a sore throat ominously threatened to develop. I only managed to swallow half of my lunch, picked at most of it, shivered when I sat under a fan (despite the fact that it was in a dorm room in the heat of the afternoon when the fan would usually have been a welcomed relief), and literally zombie-ed my way around school. Was thinking what horrible timing it was to fall sick considering that I've 3 tests this week.

Got home at 7, slept for an hour before waking up to a dinner of spaghetti which I actually finished (cos it was so good!!!). The aches were beginning a fresh bout of attacks later that night. Quietly crept into the kitchen to source out some Panadol without arousing my mum's suspicions else I'd be in for another round of "I told you to take your Vit C every day...". Took one tablet, ate a few pieces of cut chinese pear, read a magazine for a while before deciding I needed to give my body chance to fight the bug by going to sleep. And sleep I did. For 8.5 hours.

And I woke up feeling just fine. God is good. :)

Now to conquer the week ahead.
