Praise the Lord. I thought my twisty digicam had kapooted on me, and at a very inconvenient moment at that, what with the youth service photos all inside waiting to be uploaded. Seems like it was a software hiccup on my laptop that was the problem, cos everything worked fine after I'd restarted it...

Yes, a spoilt object is a trivial matter when compared to issues of life and death, of eternity and walking the path straight and narrow. Which brought to mind - what if the digicam had really kapooted? What then? Would I have have mentally shaken a frustrated fist at the sky? Would the inevitable disfunctions of technology (or life, even) leave me screaming in petulant fashion? Or would God be my source of peace - a reminder that life is not based upon a faultless track, but that in Him that all glory be unto, He quenches our thirst and satisfies us.
