A night of live music... Ah bliss. =)
Joined Polar Bear and Sheep outside Raffles mrt to listen to The Blues Virus in action. Sheep's friend was the e-guitarist. Music was alright, I would have prefered something jazzy and not blues-ey though, but it was good nevertheless. We sat on the grass patch where the band performed, and there was this absolutely darling and precocious Indian baby girl toddling about throughout the course of the blues session. She had a unique way of crawling: Sticks her butt sky-high and doesn't let her knees touch the ground. Haha. Anyway, laid back on the carpet grass when the band was done and packing up, and looked up into the night sky with office and bank buildings towering over me. Sadly, no stars in sight.
We then decided to walk over to the Esplanade to get a view of Fullerton from the roof terrace, which unfortunately was closed for maintainance (but opens
tomorrow. What perfect timing, sheesh). But there was one of those open-air performances that Esplanade often hosts, which more than made up for that minor disappointment. So happened that this Chinese pop duo called Seven was on tonight, and I.was.so.impressed... The girl has got such a smooth and clear voice, and the guy... plays the acoustic guitar. 'Nuff said. Too bad Jeremy Montario was on only at 10pm, else would have stayed to listen to him play...
