The following happened quite some time back, just never got down to blogging about it:

Was on the bus to church on Wed when one of my ex-students got on. This cheeky, bright-eyed boy whom I feel is more intelligent than he makes himself out to be, and whom I actually don't mind bumping into. Anyway, just as I was about to alight, he blurted out, "Eh Miss Huang, are you still a 'Miss'?".

*sweatdrop*

Why yes, Francis, I am but only 20 years of age. Good grief. Do I look that old??? Sigh. But I didn't tell him that of course, just gave a wry smile and said yes before scooting off in disbelief. Vaguely remember trying to suppress my laughter as I headed towards the church building. Heh.

ANYWAY... =) Feeling awfully chirpy. Maybe it's cos in spite of the SWELTERING HEAT, I'm back home from field work EARLY. Which means I can go BATHE NOW and show up for class later SQUEAKY CLEAN!!!

Oh the little things in life that bestow such bliss... *grin*.
