GAAAARRRRGGGGGH! Instead of being able to snuggle into bed now with a book and fall asleep in the midst of reading it... I've to wrap my room up in trash bags. Yes, cover every major object with black bin liners and masking tape, and making sure all knick-knacks are also safely shrouded (or kept away). AND take down my curtains. OH. AND... AND... Shift my desk, glass pieces and all. GGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Why??? WHY, you might ask. Simple. Workmen are coming in TOMORROW to correct the bits of plaster ceiling in our flat. Those that are flaking and possibly threatening to fall off due to water leakage (or whatever reason). Feel. Grouchy. Bah. And the best part is that my mum claimed to have told me about it a few days ago but I looked groggy to her then. I do suppose she could have tried telling me when I was like, fully awake instead? Argh argh argh, rant rant rant rantrantrantrantrantrantrantrant. There's no escape. They're gonna drill out those cracked bits, which means glorious dust galore. And I won't be home when they work. Double whammy. PLUS i'll be coming back from field work. Tired, sweaty, and faced with a dust-filled room. TRIPLE WHAMMY. Woohoo.
