So Tuesday's blackout was probably
the most exciting thing that's happened here this week. Stupid me only gawked at the distinct patches of non-lit areas as seen from my balcony - Clementi Central, Dover, Ghim Moh, and even the crooked t-shaped Telco building seemed affected, but I DID NOT TAKE PHOTOS. Such a dimwit, am I not? =p Interesting thing to note was that my area was left unscathed, together with NUS. Irrelevant point: Went swimming earlier in the day and it felt less strenuous than it would have before. Hrm.
Fell into a restless sleep that hot and sticky night, only to awake to rain in the wee hours of Wednesday morning. Yay rain. Met up with a church friend cum senior for breakfast (my second for the day) at the market near my place. Apart from small talk, she also sought to catch up with how I was doing. Had a good boo when a certain subject matter was brought up and surprised myself at how clearly I verbally relayed the events. It's the first time I've talked to anyone about it, how it's bothered me and all. And it felt good after letting it all out to a listening ear. Like the demon was half slained. Like my mind was cleared, some what.
Thereafter walked back home and felt tired from the emo-breakfast session, so took an hour's nap, waking up to rain again. How apt, as though it was indirectly washing away the injuries. Then made my way down to town to watch Baran with Candice. Btw, thanks so much for putting up with me, girl. Through all my PMS-y rants and crabbiness, and even the curt things I might have said. Heh, yeah.
Especially the curt things that I've said. Or do my rants freak you out more? =p Oh, and thanks for the chips too. Sigh. Now if only it'll come and be done with soon enough. One more month to the end of the hols.
Before I forget, welcome back, Sheep! Now we get to go out together - Polar Bear, you, and me!
