Amazing how an effort made to be a little less dour-than-usual led to an increased reception of smiles and put a spring in my step for the rest of the day. It also chased away the feeling of defeatedness and softened my.. uh.. facial muscles. Kinda forgot how one's demeanour affects how others respond to you - that happens when I can't see beyond my crippled self, and so it is that I get trapped in a viscious circle.

PS: Oh btw, laptop's been fixed and returned, so everything's back to normal.
