Ever experienced a sort of comfort in knowing you're not alone in your troubles? I don't mean that kind of selfish, pathetic relief derived from the knowledge that someone else is sinking in the same boat as you, but a sense of epiphany... Reality replaces delusion as you realise someone else shares and understands your problems, that in some way or another, 2 are going to emerge out of the situation better than 1. Ecc 4:9-10 *wry smile* It's not the exact same context, but hey.

I'd have thought it utter humbug 2 years ago that uni life could possibly be enjoyable. For me, at least. Yet God's turned things around and here I am, shaking my head with disbelief and some amusement at... how things are now. 2 years ago I wouldn't even have bothered lifting a hand to wave hi at a familiar face, least say twitching my facial muscles for a nanosecond of a smile. Heh. Just how do I go about convincing another that clouds like these settle upon us, closeting us in, but by God's grace, wind will come to clear the fog... The key thing is to not stray off that narrow path. Oh I know I'm being far too vague and general here, alas it's the best I can muster up in words for now.

Am displeased about a certain matter. Have no desire for confrontation to "set things straight". But honestly, sheesh!
