Whaddya know, first A ever, and for Thai at that. Ok, I know it's seriously pathetic to crow over (when I know people with 'A's, i.e. plural), but hey. So I'm pleased about that bit - frankly, anything less than an A- for Thai and I'd have been sorely disappointed, but with my past track record and a C+ for Thai 1, I didn't dare hope for much. The rest of the grades pretty much fall within my expectations, with Human Diseases as a bonus (thank you God for sparing me of yet another C+...)

Short-lived elation. Mostly numb about the whole grade thing. The fact is, I wouldn't care if D minuses were all I got (a la Peppermint Patty), IF I'd been responsibly plugging away like I should have. But I know (and He knows) that it simply wasn't the case. 3 years flushed down the drain? Yet I hesitate to acknowledge it as such. A jolly good waste of 3 years that I could have put to better use defnitely, but I won't say that all is lost.

So there you go. What lies ahead, I still know not. But there's one more module to clear and it's not going to be the easiest job.
